BUSINESS INTRODUCTION
Using airbag fabric to become the Number One provider in China

Operations include airbag fabrics, rubber materials, fiber materials, and water-treatment related products. We suggested a basic solution for expanding Chinese domestic sales through local production and consumption, producing, and selling products that don’t exist in the Chinese market locally.

Airbag fabric is our main product, a product of this group’s subsidiary airbag fabric manufacturing company “Nippon Teijin Automobile Safety Cloth (Nantong)”. Nippon Teijin automobile safety cloth and the original manufacturer worked together to create a unified production line from thread to cloth. Airbag fabric sales were initially overseas facing, but later, against the backdrop of the great Chinese car market, we began to expand the sales range to the Chinese market as well, and recently the sales from overseas markets and Chinese-facing markets have been nearly the same. Our clients are steadily increasing and include the world’s largest automobile safety part factory. From today on, we will continue expanding and fulfilling our business mission being China’s Number One airbag fabric provider, and strive to move to a higher level.

The rubber material we do business in is mainly used as a tire reinforcing material. The Chinese market comprises a third of all sales, and the remaining sales all come from overseas markets. The company’s advantage in this area is its strong collaboration with production factories, and its ability to meet customer needs very well.

The fiber materials we sell include wide-ranging products such as water-treated membrane supports, oil-based nonwoven pen tip materials, and so on. These products are almost entirely Japanese-manufactured and have begun entering Chinese markets for sales. Drainage treatment related materials use products such as Teijin Group’s unique raw-materials-based high-function water treatment filter paper as a tool for opening up sales channels.
